SQF Bilingual Quality Supervisor

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a SQF Bilingual Quality Supervisor for our client’s operation near Martinsburg, WV. This is a direct hire day shift (5AM – 2PM) position with competitive salary and benefits.

The Quality Supervisor supports the development and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and quality management systems while collaborating closely with Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety teams to resolve quality concerns and improve operational performance. This role also assists with onboarding, employee training and development, equipment verification and calibration activities, attendance tracking, and maintaining accurate quality documentation and reporting systems.

The Quality Supervisor also serves as the backup to the Quality Manager on quality, food safety, customer, regulatory, and certification-related matters, including SQF, ISO, internal audits, customer requirements, and compliance-related activities.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing, plastics, packaging, or a regulated manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in Food Science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQF, GMPs, HACCP principles, internal auditing processes, food safety systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, and team development skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
  • Must be Bi-lingual in English & Spanish

Certifications:
  • SQF Practitioner certification required.
  • HACCP certification required or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
  • Internal Auditor training and ISO experience preferred.
