Our client is hiring a Spray Technician to support RV roof coating work. This role is focused on preparing RV units for spray application, applying roof coating according to instructions, maintaining spray equipment, and helping ensure each job is completed safely, cleanly, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with RVs, spray application, foam spraying, coatings, body work, paint prep, or a related hands-on trade. This position requires attention to detail, physical agility, comfort working at heights, and the ability to follow safety procedures, including the use of a respirator.

Responsibilities

  • Apply roof coating to RVs according to company process and instructions
  • Perform detailed masking, taping, and prep work before spraying
  • Safely climb ladders and access RV roofs for prep, coating, and inspection.
  • Work on top of RV units while maintaining proper balance, awareness, and safety
  • Maintain a clean and controlled spray environment
  • Inspect RV roofs and units for potential issues before and during the repair process
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment as needed
  • Keep spray equipment properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Support general RV repair and service tasks when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Communicate clearly with team members and leadership
  • Maintain a professional attitude and provide quality service

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience as an RV technician, spray technician, foam sprayer, coatings technician, or in a related hands-on trade
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with masking, prep, and finish quality
  • Ability to climb ladders and work safely on RV roofs
  • Comfortable working at heights and moving around on top of RV units
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in physically demanding positions
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to wear a respirator as required
  • Must be clean cut or have minimal facial hair to ensure proper respirator fit
  • Basic knowledge of RV systems is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

  • RV repair or RV roof experience
  • Foam spraying, spray coating, paint prep, or body shop experience
  • Experience working with specialized shop equipment
  • Familiarity with roof coatings, sealants, masking, taping, and surface prep

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb ladders and safely access RV roofs
  • Comfortable working at heights and on top of RV units
  • Ability to maintain balance and mobility while working on elevated surfaces
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform repetitive prep and application work
  • Ability to work while wearing required PPE, including a respirator
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to coatings, spray materials, tools, and equipment
