We’re currently seeking a Lead Spray Foam Insulation Technician to join our growing team at Insul-Maxx Spray Foam & Coatings. This is an opportunity to lead a crew, showcase your expertise, and work on high profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply spray foam insulation in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and direct crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan and execute daily tasks.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while following OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, and crew members to ensure smooth project flow and problem resolution.
Working Conditions
- Work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and indoor job sites.
- Perform tasks at heights, including ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
- Navigate tight or confined spaces such as crawl spaces and mechanical rooms.
- Lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in spray foam or insulation installation.
- Proven leadership ability in a construction or technical role.
- Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Extensive experience with spray foam systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential construction practices.
- Prior lead or supervisory experience in insulation or construction.
