Job Summary
Execute complex and confidential procedures support the visibility, promotion, and engagement of Central Arizona College Athletics. This position is responsible for maintaining the athletics web presence, coordinating communications and media relations, supporting recruitment marketing efforts, and strengthening community connections. The role ensures accurate, timely, and strategic dissemination of information related to athletic programs, student-athletes, and events.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of related experience in communications, marketing, or athletics administration.
Background Verification: As a condition of employment, all candidates accepting an offer of employment for a full-time, part- time, temporary, student worker, or volunteer position, will be required to undergo a Background Verification. Employment with Central Arizona College is contingent upon the successful completion of the background verification. The level the background verification for this position is: Standard level.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work is sedentary work. The employee is occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing voices and distinguishing among sounds, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity in data/color/observations/inspecting. Duties performed causes light fatigue of eyes, fingers, or other facilities due to long periods of repetitive motion.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a dynamic environment that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with occasional distractions such as noise and interruptions or in congested work areas with exposure to some disagreeable elements. Position may require travel throughout the District. Duties performed will require evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

This is a pension system that requires mandatory contributions from the employee with a matching contribution from the employer. The 25-26 fiscal year contribution rate is 12.00%.
