JOB SUMMARY
The Sports Facility Attendant & Trainee Coach is responsible for supporting daily facility operations, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean, safe, and professional training environment. This position will assist athletes, parents, and visitors with facility usage and equipment needs. Additionally, the role includes a development pathway to progress into a Coaching/Training Role, requiring a strong interest in athletic training, baseball/ softball fastpitch skills development, and positive athlete engagement.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Open and close the facility according to operational guidelines. Greet Customers, answer questions, and provide general support to athletes, families, and visitors. Schedule cage rentals, lessons, and classes using the facility's scheduling system. Monitor facility activity to ensure safe and respectful use of equipment and space. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks. (e.g., sweeping turf, sanitizing equipment, organizing balls/bats. Inspect equipment and facility areas regularly; report or address any repairs or safety concerns Shadow coaches during lessons, camps and clinics to learn coaching methods. Learn facility instructional methods, safety protocols, and athlete coaching standards. Participate in ongoing training to gain knowledge of baseball mechanics, drills, and performance development. Practice teaching and demonstrating basic drills, warm-ups, and skill development activities under supervision. Gain working knowledge of biomechanics, hitting machines, pitching technique, and fielding fundamentals. Assist with athlete supervision, engagement, and positive reinforcement. Demonstrate a commitment to athlete growth, motivation, and positive sportsmanship. Because of the Tribe''s commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.
