Schedule: Part Time - 48 hours/pay period - Monday to Friday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay Range: $22.00/hr. to $25.00/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and location. Serve as a Resource & Liaison - Build relationships with community clergy and connect patients with spiritual care services as needed. Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings - Collaborate with hospice staff to integrate spiritual care into patient-centered care plans. Offer Crisis Intervention & Bereavement Support - Assist families and caregivers through grief, trauma, and stress, providing compassionate guidance during difficult times. Document & Maintain Patient Care Plans - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient needs, interventions, and family support efforts Other Duties as Assigned - The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. This job also requires: Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills to provide meaningful support. Strong oral and written communication to document care effectively. Ability to work with diverse beliefs and honor individual spiritual preferences. Emotional intelligence to support patients, families, and staff with sensitivity and empathy. Valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle. Ability to pass state mandated background check. Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, patients, and families. Additional Details Employment Type: Hourly, non-exempt (eligible for overtime) Department: Spiritual Care Leadership Received: Family Services Manager Division: Hospice Travel Requirements: Regular travel to client homes within region. * This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
