University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist Home Care professional to provide exceptional speech therapy services to our clients in Livonia, MI. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in clients' homes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide therapy sessions focused on speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate clients and families on therapy techniques and strategies to support communication goals.
Requirements
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience providing speech therapy in a home care or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Livonia, MI.
