Speech Pathology Assistant

Webster Public School is seeking a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant to provide services to students with disabilities under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Implement therapeutic programs and treatments within the instruction and guidelines established by the SLP
• Assist individual and small groups of students through instructional activities designed to remediate the identified communication disability
• Participate in IEP Team meetings as requested
• Assist with creating goals/objectives with SLP
• Collect and organize data and information on student needs and progress
• Report on students'' progress
• Communicate with parents, teachers and other other specialists (OT/PT)
• Participate in professional development opportunities
• Perform any other related task or duty at the direction of the building principal, supervisor of special education or designee
