The Connecticut River Academy (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is a Sustainability Studies/Early College magnet school operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford serving students in grades 6 through 12. We are actively searching for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist at the High School and Middle Grades Program to join our dynamic team of educators for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for: planning, conducting, and interpreting speech and language assessments; providing direct services; providing consultative services; and for providing ongoing communication to program staff, parents, other clinicians and outside agencies. An ideal candidate is someone who has the ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The successful candidate should have experience with students and must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. Experience in providing assessment and direct services to scholars with various diagnoses and educational needs. Masters degree and 061 certification are required. Public Health and ASHA licensure (CCC) preferred. This position will remain open until a qualified candidate is found and accepts an offer of employment. EOE.
