Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position in the Fort Worth area for the upcoming school year.

About the Role

As an SLPA in a school setting, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students improve their communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

You'll be an essential part of the therapy team, supporting students across a variety of needs and age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
  • Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
  • Provide direct therapy services to students
  • Support students with articulation, language, and social communication goals
  • Collect and record data on student performance and progress
  • Assist with classroom collaboration and carryover of therapy strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
