We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students within a reputable school district in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists to assist in the delivery of speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation services that support student success.
Responsibilities
• Assist speech-language pathologists in conducting screenings and assessments of language, articulation, fluency, voice, and hearing
• Implement treatment plans and therapy protocols as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist
• Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals and report findings accurately
• Follow ASHA guidelines to ensure ethical, high-quality, and professional service delivery
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, fittings, and adjustments for hearing aids and assistive listening devices
Requirements
• Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificate program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 6 months of SLPA experience within the last 5 years
