We are currently offering a $6,000 sign on bonus for Speech Language Pathologists joining our team! 

         Compensation for this position is $30.97-$36.57 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
          The Center is a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for a Clinical Fellowship Year.

We are searching for a full time Speech Language Pathologist to join our Cloverpatch Preschool with 3-5 year old's.

This position is based out of our Cloverpatch School in Albany, NY. Cloverpatch Preschool  provides educational services for students from 58 districts in the Capital District region and beyond, serving students who have multiple disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. Our dedicated team works every day to make sure each student is receiving not only an education optimized for their unique needs, but also full childhood and school experience. We have three ultimate goals for our graduates: independence, community inclusion and self-determination. 

Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, teacher assistants, school districts, and families to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Specialized training, license, certification, skills: NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists, NYS Teaching Certificate as a TSHH or TSLD, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence required
  • we offer excellent supervision to Clinical Fellows
  • Professional experience with dysphagia, augmentative alternative communication, working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferred
  • At least 1 year of job related experience required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

For over 75 years, the Center for Disability Services has been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities.
