Minimum Salary: $54,417
Primary Purpose:
Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, fluency or language disorders and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their students' ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelors degree with emphasis in communicative disorders
Acquired at least 24 semester credit hours in speech-language pathology
and/or audiology with at least 18 hours in speech-language pathology, 3 hours in language
disorders, and 3 hours in speech disorders
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Has earned at least 25 hours of clinical observation
Earned at least 25 hours of clinical assisting experience

Maintain emotional control under stress. Regular district wide travel to multiple work locations as assigned;
moderate lifting and carrying. May be required to lift and transfer students to and from wheelchair or assist with
positioning students with physical disabilities.
