Job Description:
Schedule: Hours: M-F, 8A-6P with possibility for some weekends
Location: Orlando, FL
Responsible for assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to ensure patient care aligns with the pharmacy's philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures. This position performs all necessary duties and tasks for the effective daily operations of department services and programs. Additionally, this role handles a high volume of work with minimal direct supervision and performs all job functions. In addition, this position actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Additionally, this role requires the ability to perform all duties listed for Pharmacy Technician II, III, and IV.

Acts as a resource to pharmacy, risk management, quality, and performance improvement departments.
Leads the review and evaluation of medication safety practices and recommends process improvements.
Manages and implements medication safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
Oversees adverse drug event reporting activities and evaluates significant medication variances.
