Specialty Patient Care Coordinator

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Travel Specialty Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the Sacramento area. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting multiple specialty practices. The Travel Specialty Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while coordinating specialty treatment, scheduling, insurance verification, and financial arrangements.

This position requires travel between supported offices within the designated market

• Serve as the primary point of contact for specialty patients, providing outstanding customer service and support.
• Coordinate specialty treatment plans and assist patients in understanding recommended care.
• Schedule appointments and manage specialty provider schedules across multiple locations.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Review treatment estimates, discuss financial arrangements, and answer patient questions regarding costs and coverage.
• Follow up with patients regarding treatment acceptance and pending appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and office teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support front office operations as needed.
• Travel to assigned offices throughout the Sacramento market.

• Dental experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual preferred
• Candidates with medical office, healthcare, sales, customer service, or patient coordination experience are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to travel between supported locations
• Positive attitude and a passion for helping others

•  Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
