We are seeking an Information Technology Specialist to provide hands-on IT support across seven Catholic schools in Virginia Beach and the eastern region. This
field-based role, based at a Virginia Beach school, involves maintaining reliable technology, with a focus on
desktop support, network troubleshooting, and supporting a Google Workspace environment.
Responsibilities include
- Providing on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and classroom technology
- Maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity
- Supporting Google Workspace, Chromebooks, and Microsoft Office
- Troubleshooting interactive displays and web filtering systems
- Managing device inventory and coordinating equipment deployment
- Collaborating with the central IT team to ensure security and standards
Travel between locations is required, with a vehicle provided.
Requirements include
- Experience with desktop support, network troubleshooting, Windows, macOS, and Chromebooks
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and classroom tech
- Familiarity with wireless networking, Firewalls, Ubiquiti equipment (a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; certifications are a plus
