All Quality Engineers perform quality planning, quality design and execution.You will focus on a blend of skills enabling efficient execution of risk‑based testing, test automation, performance testing, test data management, test environment management, continuous integration and continuous deployment—all improving speed to delivery for our business partners.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out procedures to ensure all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end‑user requirements.Analyzing and reviewing moderate requirements, user stories and technical work products to create the automation needed.Planning for the proper mix of manual, automated, and exploratory testing methods.Using the appropriate quality engineering tools to define test data management, test automation, security/vulnerability, performance, and regression testing needs.Validating test results, recording and researching defects.Coordinating test runs and test environment calendars for all impacted applications.Tracing requirements to tests and test results.Prioritizing, defining, and managing defect reporting and resolution.Managing defects including identifying, tracking, and providing critical thinking for resolution.Identifying means to be more effective and efficient in testing, without compromising quality.Planning for continuous integration to enable a continuous deployment pipeline.Executing moderate release testing and having a plan for back‑out testing.Validating that release components are installed in the appropriate testing environment.Aligning with the Nationwide automated testing reference architecture.Complying with release management process governance and timelines throughout the release.May perform other responsibilities as assigned.Reporting RelationshipsReports to Technology Manager or Director.Typical Skills and ExperiencesEducation: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications including TOSCA Automated Specialist 1 (AS1), TOSCA Automated Specialist 2 (AS2), or other related designations are preferred.Experience: Four or more years of experience with test optimization and automation processes and tools. Demonstrated experience in testing for agile teams including planning, test plan creation, maintenance and execution. Good understanding of test automation and optimization throughout a stack and the tools to support.Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of planning. Ability to problem‑solve and set priorities needed. Nationwide Trans Inc was founded August 11, 2004 by friends and business partners Kong Lee and Tony Tran. They started in the industry at different logistics brokerages and formulated their own business model as a freight transportation provider. Nationwide started out of their one story home in 2004 with only 4 trucks and 4 drivers. After 8 months, they moved int o a 2-acre yard and bought 22 more trucks. Throughout the years, they built strong relationships with top brokers such as Landstar, Schneider, and Coyote. Lastly in July 2011 they moved the company to its current location, Ontario, CA. the 6-acre yard consists of over 100 trucks and 150 trailers. Kong and Tony's next venture is Nationwide Logistics, in which their goal is to build life-long relationships and become a superior 3PL company in the industry.
