5 or more years of direct Inspector experience in the oil and gas, chemical, or petrochemical industry
Certification(s) in:
API 570
API 653
CWI
Associate's Degree or Trade Certification
Experience using common inspection software applications (e.g., PCMS, UltraPipe, EMPRV, API-RBI and SAP)
Knowledgeable in standard non-destructive examination (NDE) methods
Knowledgeable in visual welding inspection
Working knowledge of fixed equipment quality practices
Experience applying risk-based inspection (RBI) methodologies aligned with API 580/581
Proficiency with MS Outlook Suite (Outlook Email, Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs)
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $127,800 - $156,200.

The Billings Refinery is located in Billings, Montana. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of Canadian heavy, high-sulfur crude oil delivered by pipeline, and domestic crude oil delivered by truck. With the startup of a new vacuum distillation unit in 2017, the refinery has 100 percent heavy crude processing capability. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and petroleum coke. Finished petroleum products are distributed by pipeline, rail car and truck. Pipelines transport most of the refined products to markets in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Washington.
