Job Summary:
 
Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to support IT operations and Service Desk activities across multiple county locations. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, printers, user accounts, and desktop environments while ensuring excellent customer service. Travel within the assigned counties is required and reimbursable.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide desktop, laptop, software, and peripheral support.
  • Resolve Service Desk incidents and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, image, and deploy computers and business applications.
  • Support printers, network connectivity, user accounts, email, Active Directory, Citrix, and data migration.
  • Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead or support IT projects and provide status updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
 
Required Skills:
 
  • Strong experience in desktop support, troubleshooting, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, Citrix, networking, and hardware/software support.
  • Experience with system imaging, deployments, and user data migration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Onsite position.
  • Travel required within assigned counties; expenses reimbursed.
