The Special Projects Manager – Investments leads and manages strategic, high-priority projects that support investment decision-making, portfolio optimization, and operational efficiency. This role combines project management, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to implement initiatives that enhance investment outcomes and create measurable value.
The position works closely with portfolio managers, investment analysts, operations teams, and senior leadership to execute initiatives that strengthen investment strategies, processes, and reporting capabilities.
Lead and manage special projects across investment programs, including portfolio analysis, capital deployment, and process improvement initiatives
Conduct data-driven analysis to identify investment opportunities, risk exposures, and performance optimization strategies
Develop project plans, timelines, and reporting tools to track progress and deliverables
Coordinate with investment teams, operations, finance, and external partners to ensure successful project execution
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on portfolio strategy, program enhancements, and operational efficiencies
Monitor project outcomes and prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders
Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities to optimize investment workflows
Ensure all initiatives comply with governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in investments, asset management, private equity, or strategic project management
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, SQL, Python, or project management tools is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
