The Coordinator will also assume responsibility for UConn GPS, a pre-semester program that facilitates a successful transition to university life for first-year and transfer students. Through three days of activities, workshops, and social events designed to build familiarity with the UConn campus and available resources, attendees learn about college expectations, prepare for the semester, and develop strong connections with peers. In addition, the incumbent will serve as a key representative of CSD and its programs, providing training on disability and accommodations to UConn faculty and staff, and engaging with current and prospective students and families, secondary schools, and community partners to share information about CSD and its enhanced service programs.
