The role involves supporting behavioral interventions, creating an engaging classroom environment, and ensuring compliance with legal and district policies. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and cultural competence are essential. Certification in First Aid, CPR, and ongoing professional development are required. The teacher reports to the principal or support coordinators and may supervise a personal assistant. The position is based on the teacher calendar within the Student Support department.
