Position Details
Full-time, W2 position
Pay Rate: $42-$46.00/hour
Candidates must be certified Special Education Teachers
Age Groups: Elementary and High School students
Disabilities on caseload primarily include:
Other Health Impairments (OHI)
Learning Disabilities
Autism
Language Impairments
Caseload is fluid, typically serving approximately 10-15 students at any given time
Services are primarily provided within the general education setting during standard school hours

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Special education teachers work with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. They adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, to students with mild and moderate disabilities. They also teach basic skills, such as literacy and communication techniques, to students with severe disabilities.
