Position Details

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment that supports student growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active California Education Specialist Credential (or eligibility)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
• School-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
