Position Overview:
- Deliver specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through inclusive classroom support, small-group instruction, and individualized teaching strategies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data to guide instruction and measure progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to provide academic and behavioral supports that promote student success.
- Provide targeted literacy and math interventions to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve meaningful academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date
- Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based instructional strategies
