What We're Seeking:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education
- Minnesota State Licensure
- Experience with students with diverse disabilities (EBD, OHD, ASD, BVI) preferred
- Skilled in behavior management, de-escalation, and positive reinforcement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support a therapeutic classroom of about 10 students in grades 2-5
- Implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Assist students' reintegration into general education, monitoring progress
- Collaborate with team members and related providers
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment promoting social-emotional and academic growth
- Partner with families and district professionals for ongoing support
