Base Salary Range: $62,650 - $118,084*
Professional Learning Stipend: $6,876 - $12,960
Supplemental Contract: Six (6) additional days (per diem)
Special Education Day: Join your special education colleagues prior to the start of the year to review updates, receive caseloads and plan with your teams (per diem - one (1) day)

Steilacoom High School is seeking a talented Special Education teacher to support a small group of students, typically with autism, in a highly structured classroom. This position focuses on meeting each student's unique learning needs, including academics, communication, self-management, and daily living skills. The classroom uses evidence-based to create a predictable, supportive, and individualized learning environment. Strong collaboration with general education teachers and support staff is essential to ensuring student growth and success across settings.
