Notice of Vacancy SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER HOLLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT Anticipated Start Date: August 31, 2026

REPORTS TO:Principal

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide instructional programs that promote student's development of skill and knowledge in content area.
  • Demonstrate effective command of classroom that supports student learning.
  • Work as a contributing member of the School Community.
  • Establish effective rapport with pupils to develop the skill, attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become successful individuals in accordance with each pupil's ability.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents/ guardians and staff members.

ABILITY TO:

  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and administration.
  • Modify student work to match students' level of understanding and development.
  • Maintain cooperative, productive and flexible working relationship with students and staff.
  • Solve practical problems with students and staff.
  • Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
  • Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Provide information and assistance to parents, the general public and other staff members in a helpful, courteous and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A teaching license issued by the State of Massachusetts appropriate for this content areaa
  • Demonstrated expertise in specific instructional content area, as assigned.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results
