Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher or Education Specialist.
• Certifications Requirements: Current license to practice in California.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Special Education, with strong classroom management skills and experience working in high school or elementary settings, including Mild/Moderate Classroom, inclusion, or resource classroom environments.
• Other Requirements: Resume submission and valid license are mandatory. Must have ability to work day shifts on a 37.5-hour schedule; strong communication skills and a passion for student success are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to students in Mild/Moderate settings or inclusion/resource classrooms at high school and elementary levels.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with team members and families.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Record and report on student progress and participate in team meetings to ensure student success.
