Teach with Purpose: At KIPP Public Schools Northern California, our Education Specialists ensure that every student's unique strengths are recognized, supported, and celebrated. You will design and/or co-design engaging, differentiated lessons, use data to guide instruction, and create inclusive classrooms where all students can learn and thrive. You'll also integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to build a joyful, safe, and affirming community.
Collaborate and Grow: You'll work closely with your school's Leadership Team—including your Instructional Coach—and partner with general education teachers and service providers to ensure all students receive the support they need. Through weekly meetings, coaching, and professional learning, you'll receive the support and feedback to grow as both an educator and advocate.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
Physical: Ability to navigate school and classroom settings. Ability to access and utilize technology. Occasional lifting/carrying of equipment 1-20 lbs. Physical agility to move self in various positions in order to execute duties effectively, which may include kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, squatting, twisting, turning, bending, stooping and reaching overhead.
Mental: Stress of deadlines and normal work standards, ability to analyze problems and generate alternatives, work with interruptions, concentrate for long periods of time, read, calculate, perform routine math problems, memorize and recall objects and people.
Environmental: School and classroom environment subject to constant interruptions and distractions. Adhere to KIPP's health and safety guidelines as outlined by the CDC, CDE, and public health agencies' recommendations.
