As a Special School District (SSD) early childhood teacher, you provide individualized instruction and support tailored to your students' diverse learning abilities, ensuring they reach their full potential. Special education teachers work closely with professionals across various disciplines. Together, you will craft comprehensive and effective learning plans that provide the necessary scaffolding for each student to excel. This collaborative effort involves continuous assessment and monitoring of progress, with the flexibility to adapt and modify plans as needed. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, specialization in special education preferred
  • Classroom experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) teaching certificate in Early Childhood Special Education required
