POSITION: Junior/Senior High School Special Education Teacher

LOCATION: Caro Junior/Senior High School

START DATE: 2026-2027 School Year

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with certification and endorsements as required by the State

Department of Education in Special Education (required) and another core subject area (preferred). Alternatively, current enrollment in a program to earn certification or willing to enroll in a program prior to hire.

2. Must be Highly Qualified in grades 7-12.

3. Experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) (preferred).

4. Manifest the ability and desire to work with students, parents, teachers & administrators.

5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
