Job Requirements.
  • EducationRequirements: Certified Special Education Teacher
  • CertificationsRequirements: Certified Special Education Teacher
  • ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of Special Education teaching experience
  • OtherRequirements: Must be a Certified Special Education Teacher. School setting role (Days, 5 days a week). Experience supporting students with disabilities including Primarily OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment (10-15 students at any given time; fluid caseload). Ability to provide services primarily inside general education settings (push-in/co-teaching). Demonstrated comfort working with elementary and high school age groups. Strong IEP process knowledge (writing goals, attending meetings, referrals, reevaluations, and informal/formal testing) and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families. Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment while supporting social-emotional and behavioral needs. Virtual Screening Completed. Candidate availability consideration: earliest start date received June 30, 2026 (subject to client required start timing). Background/clearances may be required for school-based employment (details to be provided during onboarding).

JobResponsibilities:
  • Provide Special Education services in a school setting primarily inside general education settings, supporting students with IEPs through co-teaching/push-in instruction.
  • Manage an active caseload (fluid; serving approximately 10–15 students) with disabilities including Primarily OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment.
  • Develop, write, and implement IEP goals; participate in IEP meetings, referrals, and reevaluations; support formal and informal educational assessment.
  • Track student progress and use results to adjust instruction and interventions to meet IEP needs, including social-emotional and behavioral supports.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent supports, accommodations, and a positive learning environment.
