    SUBJECT: Inclusion Coach

    QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of successful teaching experience. Appropriate licensure in Special Education from DESE. Strong organizational and excellent oral and written communication skills. Specialized knowledge of the current principles and techniques of educating students with intellectual disabilities in substantially separate classrooms. Possess extensive knowledge of severe disabilities and have experience supporting students with a wide range of educational and social/emotional needs.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate and monitor the provision of curriculum for students placed in developmental substantially separate classrooms Work with teachers and support staff in developmental substantially separate elementary classrooms to ensure ongoing professional development is provided, and maintain training data for educators and staff. Support teachers in developing best practices in the classroom and provide ongoing support in classroom set up, design and structure. Collaborate with Coordinators, Building Administrators, and Assistant Directors of Special Education to ensure that students have access to inclusive opportunities in the learning environment. Partner with teachers, support staff, and Special Education Coordinators to develop classroom management plans to support student growth. Provide ongoing professional development, coaching and modeling to teachers and support staff. Work hours 7:09 a.m. - 2:19 p.m.

    COMPENSATION: According to contract FUNDING SOURCE: Local Funds
