Organization Information The Calloway County School District has been designated by KDE as a Distinguished Progressing District of Distinction. The mission of Calloway County Schools is to empower all students academically, socially, and personally to be lifelong learners capable of thinking, solving problems, and serving as responsible citizens ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Having every student to be Successful-Now and Beyond serves as our motto. Additionally, we want all students to be Learners for Life, attaining skills and attributes that enable them to be college and/or career ready, grounded in a mindset of continuous learning.
The district is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as part of AdvancED and includes a preschool, three elementary schools (K-5), a middle school (6-8), and a high school (9-12). The district operates an Alternative Instructional Facility that houses the Day Treatment Center, Day and Night PRIDE, and Alternative Educational Center programs. Preschool and elementary school childcare programs provide student and parent support. All schools provide instruction based on KY Core Academic Standards, high-quality teaching practices, and a curriculum designed to engage and challenge every student.
