Looking for a role where your expertise in special education compliance directly supports student success? Cross Country Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Case Manager to coordinate services, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with school teams for the 2026–2027 school year in Chicago, IL.
 
Position Overview: 

  • Manage and coordinate a large caseload of students receiving special education and 504 services while ensuring timely delivery of required supports.
  • Monitor IDEA timelines, documentation, and regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Facilitate IEP and 504 meetings in collaboration with educators, families, and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and ensure all compliance documentation is completed on time.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (K-8)
  • Prior experience in special education case management, including managing IEP and 504 caseloads (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations, compliance requirements, and special education documentation processes
