Cross Country Education is seeking an experienced Case Manager to coordinate special education services and collaborate with school teams to support student success for the 2026–2027 school year in Chicago, IL.
Position Overview:
- Manage and coordinate a large caseload of students receiving special education and 504 services, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of all required supports.
- Oversee IDEA compliance processes, including monitoring timelines, documentation accuracy, and adherence to state and federal special education regulations.
- Facilitate and participate in IEP and 504 meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and service providers to develop and implement student plans.
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and ensure all required compliance documentation is completed within mandated deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (K-8)
- Prior experience in special education case management, including managing IEP and 504 caseloads (Required)
- Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations, compliance requirements, and special education documentation processes.
