The Special Education Balance Teacher provides goal-based academic support for students requiring moderate levels of support, spending most of their day in a special education classroom.
Responsibilities include serving as an IEP/IFSP case manager, collaborating with teams, developing and implementing individualized programs, maintaining records, collecting progress data, and communicating with families and staff.
Qualifications include a current Minnesota special education license in two areas or the ability to obtain one, with travel between sites. Strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge of general education standards are essential.
