Job Description: Dover Sherborn Elementary Schools is seeking Educational Assistants to work with students in grades K-5. Educational Assistants lead individuals and small groups in support of academic and social/emotional skills. Staff also support the functions of the school through supervision of lunch, break times/recess, and assist teachers with material preparation. Data collection on student progress is also an extremely important aspect of this role. Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from special education and general education staff.
Primary responsibilities: To supervise, nurture and support students. Facilitate classroom activities in support of students' academic, social/emotional and behavioral learning needs. Ensure inclusion services and accommodations are consistently provided to students per their disability related needs. Implement and collect data for designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans. Communication with general education staff and special education staff regarding student progress. Supervision of students in the classroom, at lunch, breaks, and/or during recess. Take initiative by collaborating and communicating with staff. Data Collection as instructed. Recommended
Qualifications: Bachelor''s Level Coursework in the field of education or a related area. Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Terms of Employment: School Year: 2026-2027 Salary: $29.00 per hour Benefits in accordance with Education Support contract
