PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION:
Provide instruction to individual students and small groups of students. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma/GED
Educational Aide Certificate
Meets Highly Qualified status with either an Associate's degree or higher, 48 college hours or a
certificate demonstrating state or local academic assessment.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work well with children
Calm and patient demeanor with students and others
Experience:
Some experience working with children in an instructional setting
