Spare Parts Specialist / Inventory Control – Akron/Cleveland, Ohio - JOB #25-01271 Salary Range: $60K to $75K - Permanent Position / Benefits
DESCRIPTION: Akron/Cleveland, Ohio area Manufacturing Company seeks to hire an experienced Spare Parts Specialist to manage mechanical and electrical parts inventory and assist customers in identifying correct replacement parts needed.
REQUIREMENTS: - High School, GED Graduate and / or Higher Level of Education
- 5+ years' working experience in a parts management / inventory control environment.
- Solid mechanical / electromechanical technical background to understand custom machinery drawings, blueprints, and parts specifications
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with a professional demeanor to interact with customers
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and identifying slow-moving or obsolete items
- Coordinating with suppliers to order and replenish parts, ensuring timely delivery
- Occasional overnight travel (up to once or twice per month)
- Entering and tracking orders, processing invoices, and managing special orders
- Performing regular inventory counts, reconciling inventory records, and resolving discrepancies
- Identifying and resolving issues related to spare parts availability, such as defects or delays
- This position may grow to a Field Technical Advisor
