Duties
Are you looking for an opportunity to work with an awesome group of middle school students? Do you want to work in an environment with other professionals that work together to create a positive and welcoming climate and culture?
Then our 8th grade Spanish teacher position may be right for you!
As a School Social Worker you will support the success of individuals and small groups of students through support strategies and consultation with staff.
Parker Junior High houses approximately 900 students in grades 6-8. We are firm believers in the whole child and have implemented Capturing Kids'' Hearts to ensure a safe, positive, and productive working environment for all learners. You would be joining a team of school social workers, having two other professionals to work alongside and collaborate with in your department.
Qualifications
To be qualified for the position, you will need a Bachelor''s degree or Master''s degree in Education. Must have taught Spanish ? Grades 6-8 in the last ten (10) years or have taken coursework, seminars or workshops relevant to Spanish ? Grades 6-8 education in the last two (2) years. Additionally, a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
