Global Dimensions is seeking a Spanish Operational Language Analyst (OLA) Level 2 to support intelligence operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. The selected candidate will perform advanced cryptologic language processing, translation, transcription, gisting, and reporting in support of national security missions.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform cryptologic language processing of Spanish audio, graphic, and written materials in support of intelligence operations.
Translate, transcribe, and gist foreign language communications into accurate, idiomatic English while preserving context and intent.
Exploit foreign language materials to identify and report intelligence of operational value.
Draft, edit, and review intelligence reports derived from translated and analyzed source material.
Conduct research using classified databases and intelligence systems to support analytical requirements.
Identify Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) and produce timely, accurate, and mission-focused intelligence products.
Support target development, network analysis, speaker identification, and language identification activities.
Develop and maintain glossaries, working aids, reference materials, and databases to improve translation accuracy and mission effectiveness.
Collaborate with intelligence analysts, linguists, and Government personnel to support operational planning and intelligence production.
Ensure all work complies with Government quality standards, security procedures, and classification guidance.
Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting strict production timelines and mission requirements.
Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in a classified operational environment.
Participate in mission-related training and maintain required language proficiency and security clearance requirements.
Perform other language and intelligence support duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full-Scope (FS) Polygraph.
Minimum 4 years of full-time experience performing cryptologic language processing, or 6 years without a qualifying degree.
Associate's degree in a related field, or 2 additional years of qualifying work experience in lieu of the degree.
Minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic translation.
Minimum 4 years of experience performing cryptologic language processing, including Level 1 OLA responsibilities and intelligence report drafting.
At least 2 years with primary duties focused on translation, transcription, and/or gisting.
No more than 1 of the required 4 years may have intelligence reporting as the primary duty.
At least 2 of the required 4 years of experience must have been completed within 4 years of resume submission.
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC).
Experience exploiting foreign language communications in support of intelligence operations.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and security.
