SOX Program Manager

ResponsibilitiesAnnual risk assessment and SOX process scoping exercise with focus on key financial statement line items, risk and business processes and IT General ControlsPerform and coordinate end to end walkthroughs with test of onePerform and review SOX key control testing and IPE testing in accordance with PCAOB standardsYou will evaluate current control design effectiveness and recommend controls and documentationPartner with business units and key functions to assist them in implementing the SOX processesMaintain understanding of changes and impact on design and operation of controlsPartner with the business and functions in issue identification, root cause, potential impact calculation and determination of effective remediationEvaluate Internal Audit findings and evaluate the impact on financial reporting with potential financial impact.Alignment with the business and key stakeholdersDevelop and deliver training programs to enhance control environment and culture with within LindeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent is requiredCPA is requiredMore than five (5+) years of combined relevant public accounting / SEC experienceInternal controls experienceand knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and US SEC and PCAOB requirementsDemonstrated experience evaluating internal control design, tests of operating effectiveness, deficiency remediation and evaluation processesYou have demonstrated ability to build positive rapport with personnel throughout global organizationExhibit positive attitude and maintain poise under pressureSystems experience with SAP, Experian and ExcelThree to five (3-5) years “Big Four” public accounting experienceWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
