As a Sous Chef, you'll oversee daily food production, sanitation, and back-of-house operations while supervising kitchen staff in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Opportunities are available in both historic full-service restaurants and quick-service locations throughout the park.
Seasonal Position
- Mid-June through Early November
- $1,940 $2,136 bi-weekly
- Approximately 45 hours/week
- Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise back-of-house teams during service
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and sanitation standards
- Manage food and labor costs
- Oversee inventory, ordering, scheduling, and production records
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Maintain organized, efficient kitchen operations
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through strong culinary leadership
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience
- Strong culinary and knife skills
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train employees
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
