Inspired by Italian simplicity and shaped by influences from the Southern U.S., Europe, and beyond, our cooking reflects both tradition and evolution. Over the past two years, we ve grown into a kitchen we re proud of. We ve built a strong team, a thoughtful culture, and a style of cooking that we re genuinely excited about.
We were honored as a 2025 James Beard Award nominee for Best New Restaurant, an acknowledgment that s only pushed us to keep improving. We know this is just the beginning. We re looking for a Sous Chef to help take Figulina into its next chapter.
The Role
This is a leadership position. You ll work directly with Chef/Owner Dave to help run the kitchen day to day, alongside a second sous chef. The goal is a collaborative, well-supported leadership structure that keeps the kitchen operating at a high level. You ll be responsible for maintaining quality and consistency across prep and service, managing time and workflow during service, supporting and developing the team, communicating clearly with BOH and FOH, assisting with ordering and organization, and stepping into leadership to help set the tone when needed.
