Position Summary The Source & Reuse Manager leads the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of assigned source and reuse water assets. The role provides team leadership, training, and oversight while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and financial requirements. Regular field presence and travel within the assigned operating area are required to support staff, inspect assets, and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships. Level and salary commensurate with experience. This position is based in Midland, Texas and reports to the Vice President, Operations. Essential Job Duties - Oversee daily source and reuse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
- Lead, schedule, train, equip, and support the team in assigned duties.
- Review water balances to forecast needs and maintain uninterrupted sourcing and delivery.
- Monitor operating costs, including labor, fuel, rentals, and other job-related expenses.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization standards across equipment yards.
- Ensure frac ponds, access ramps, and related infrastructure meet operational, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with E&P representatives and field staff to plan upcoming sourcing and transfer projects.
- Monitor water well performance and implement corrective action as needed.
- Oversee maintenance scheduling and asset management for trucks, skid steers, pumps, fuel trailers, and other support equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, cost control, and overall water management performance.
- Lead by example in following company policies and safety procedures, including KPA, JSAs, training, incident reporting, and safety observations.
- Use the KPA system to manage safety inspections, compliance tasks, and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling and tank operations.
- Maintain daily communication with site operations and team members using approved company communication tools.
- Collaborate with staff, contractors, and consultants on training and adherence to Reuse SOPs.
- Manage client invoicing, reconciliation, procurement, PO approvals, and vendor RFQs.
- Ensure purchase orders align with approved requisitions, pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Support hiring, performance management, employee development, discipline, and timely timesheet approval.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned based on business needs.

Minimum Qualification - High school diploma or GED required.
- 5 years of water reuse experience.
- 3 years of oil and gas experience with a strong understanding of relevant operations and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support operational teams in a safe, productive environment.
- Working knowledge of automated systems and software such as BI, Spotfire, Prologic, and Sequel.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability under the Company’s insurance program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions - Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
- Work is performed in both office and field environments.
- Must be able to conduct site visits, inspections, and field observations.
- Must be able to travel to field assets and other Company locations as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- May be exposed to noise, moving equipment, weather, dust, uneven terrain, wildlife, H2S, and other field hazards.
- Must be able to work in varying weather and low-light conditions common to field operations.
