Demonstrates a complete working knowledge of Ultrasound equipment and performs all Ultrasound procedures as assigned. 2. Demonstrates ability to visualize anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning and utilizes ACR guidelines to obtain Ultrasound images. 3. Obtains patient history and clinical data for correlation with the images and reviews physician order and consults with physician as needed for special instructions.4. Greets patients and confirms patient identification utilizing two patient identifiers. Completely explains examination procedure to the patient and family if present.5. Performs visual preventive safety inspections on all equipment and ensures all inspection stickers are up to date. Identifies problems and communicates to immediate supervisor.6. Maintains necessary inventory of supplies rotating stock in an orderly fashion and eliminating outdated items. Complies with TJC standards.7. Recognizes emergency situations and reports patient care emergencies to providers immediately.8.
