This role is a proactive technical development role, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs.Key job responsibilities- Evaluate existing MHE software configurations and identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies- Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve throughput, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)- Design software-based solutions that maximize the utilization of conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, AGVs, and other MHE assets- Create technical specifications and architecture documents for proposed solutions- Lead end-to-end implementation of software optimization projects from scoping through go-live- Manage system integrations between MHE controls, enterprise software (ERP/WMS), and middleware- Oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of software changes in live environments- Partner with operations, engineering, and IT teams to understand business requirements and pain points- Present solution proposals, ROI analyses, and business cases to leadership- Serve as the technical liaison between vendors, integrators, and internal teams- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for customer staff- Provide 24/7 Tier 2/3 technical support for controls-related MHE issues- Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and capital planning for MHE investments- Handle flexible workload which may come from management or operations.- Travel up to 70%A day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
