This role partners directly with customers and internal delivery teams to design, build, and govern AI‑driven workplace experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.This role focuses on the Microsoft 365 Copilot out‑of‑the‑box experience, including technical deployment, leveraging Microsoft Graph data to assess tenant readiness, creating custom policies, identifying and preventing data oversharing, and enabling first‑party agent capabilities. The role also supports declarative and custom engine agent development and enterprise governance of agents across Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Power Platform Admin Center, Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Agent 365.The Solutions Engineer plays a key role in shaping solutions, accelerating service development, and ensuring consistent, secure, and scalable delivery across engagements.This position blends hands‑on technical execution with design‑led thinking, customer advisory skills, and a strong interest in applied AI across the modern workplace.This role sits at the intersection of AI innovation, human experience, and responsible AI enablement, offering the opportunity to shape how organizations build lasting capability with Microsoft 365 Copilot and workforce agents while contributing to the evolution of SHI's Microsoft Services practice.Role DescriptionCopilot Experience and Agent ArchitectureServe as the technical SME for Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment, extension, and agent solution development in Copilot Studio, including first‑party, declarative, and custom engine agentsGuide SHI customers through hands‑on Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments, including tenant readiness assessments, data and AI readiness, license assignments, use case identification, and governanceLead end‑to‑end Copilot deployments, including prerequisite validation, service enablement, and rollout planning across Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related servicesDesign and implement security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview (labels, DLP, eDiscovery), Microsoft Defender (threat visibility), and Microsoft Entra (identity, conditional access, least privilege)Assess and reduce data exposure risks by analyzing Microsoft Graph signals, SharePoint and OneDrive permissions, sensitivity labels, and external sharing configurationsDesign and implement end‑to‑end agent solutions using Copilot Studio and the Power Platform, aligning workflows, automation, and extensibility to business needsEstablish enterprise agent governance, including environment strategy (DEV/UAT/PROD), managed environments, ALM/pipelines, connector estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $207,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job‐related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
